Washing your Dog is step one of the Pet Grooming process.

Allow your pet to relieve itself before grooming to avoid uneasiness.

Brush and comb the coat and remove any debris, mats, or tangles fom pets hair. Start at the rear and work forward. For example work on the legs, body and then head. Remember to be gentle when removing mats.

Note: Wet hair will make mats harder to handle.

Wash dog with pet shampoo. It is important to shampoo at least twice. This allows you to clean the undercoat, not just the surface. Shampoo works better when diluted with water.

Note: Pet shampoo is specially formulated for dogs. It will not dry or irrate pets skin or eyes.

Towel dry and brush or comb dog hair. You can now clip your dogs nails with nail cutters. Once you dog is completly dry you are ready to RoboCut.

Note: Talk to your pet while grooming. This is comforting. At the end of a grooming or practice session praise yor pet, give him a specail treat and or talk him for a walk. It is important to make him feel rewarded.
